Since the Music Warehouse's opening in 1995 it has now grown to stock over 650 different types of guitars ranging from Maton, Fender, Epiphone and Gibson to more affordable brands and popular beginners guitars. The Music Warehouse now boasts one of the largest ranges of guitars in Townsville, even North Queensland.

Gert Elkaer, who has been a local musician here in Townsville for the last 20 years, established the Music Warehouse in 1995. He has been a performer for over half his life and knows what musicians need and want.
